Iyengar yoga was developed and named by the living yoga master B.K.S. Iyengar, it is a form of yoga that focuses on precision and alignment of the physical body through the system of asanas. It aims to unite the body, mind and spirit and relieves the stress of modern day life. The use of props help students to perform asanas correctly and attain best possible body alignment, as well as deeper and longer penetration into the posture.
